Tashi is a passionate yoga instructor who embarked on her yoga journey in her early 20s, now in her late forties she inspires students globally. 

Embodiment as Wisdom

Tashi’s infectious enthusiasm for embodiment and life’s reflections comes effortlessly and brightly through her teaching. With childlike glee, she shares a wealth of practice experience in her yoga classes.

A Master of Skill and Inclusion

Tashi has earned recognition for her expertise in teaching yoga retreats across breathtaking European locations. Her mastery lies in skill building, creating inclusive spaces, and fostering reflective contemplation.

Drawing from training in various movement modalities, she crafts inclusive and fascinating classes suitable for practitioners of all levels.

Tashi’s teaching objective is clear: she aims to guide each student towards developing a deep love for yoga as a self-led practice.

Retreat Specialist

Tashi started leading her retreats when she relocated to Europe in 2006. She became a resident teacher at one of Europe’s most extablished centres and spent many years teaching up to 30 retreats a year.

 

Tashi empowers her students to move with grace, ease, and intelligence, without imposing dogma or physical elitism. Her guidance serves as a gateway to enhanced inner vision, wisdom, & personal knowledge.

Dedication to Life Long Learning

Since 2004, Tashi has made annual trips to India to deepen her yoga knowledge. In 2013, she received level 2 authorisation from Sharat Jois of KPJAYI to teach the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.

Tashi has searched far and wide for her truth, she has completed courses and trainings in yoga all over the world in the last 20 years in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Classical Hatha and Sivananda yoga.

She is trained in the Dynamic Yoga Training method with Godfrey Devereux and the Purna Yoga method with John Ogilvie.

Her list of teachers include Sharat and Manju Jois, Godfrey Devereux, Simon Borg-Oliver, John Ogilvie, Kristina Karitinou, Eddie Stern, BNS Iyengar, David Garrigues, Mark and Joanna Darby, Uma Dinsmore Tuli and others.

From Project Manager to Yoga Teacher

Tashi’s life journey has taken her across the globe since she left high school. Her twenties were devoted to studying and working in northern Australia, including extended periods in remote Arnhem Land working with Indigenous women. She has been actively involved in community projects across the South Pacific and Southeast Asia.

Tashi’s late twenties saw her transition from project management to teaching yoga. In her early thirties, she made a decision to relocate to Europe to pursue her yoga teaching career.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s Degree in Community Development, reflecting her commitment to both artistic expression and community empowerment.
