Frequently Asked Questions

To hold your spot, a non-refundable deposit of €400 per person is required. As our retreats are small and fill up quickly, this is how we keep your place reserved just for you. If you're booking for more than one person, a separate deposit is needed for each individual. Your place is confirmed once the deposit has been received.

The remaining balance is due 60 days before the retreat begins. If you're booking closer to the date, full payment is simply required at the time of booking. Once everything is settled, you're all set and we'll be in touch with everything you need to prepare for your trip.

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we'll always do our best to support you. The €400 deposit is non-refundable, though if we're able to fill your place, we'll return it minus a €100 admin fee. Once the full balance has been paid: cancellations 60 or more days before the retreat receive a 90% credit towards a future retreat; cancellations between 31–59 days receive a 50% credit; and cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable unless your spot is taken by someone else. Credits don't include the deposit unless the place is resold. We always recommend travel insurance for extra peace of mind.

Yes, absolutely. If your plans change, you're welcome to pass your place on to a friend or someone you know, as long as we've had a chance to chat about it and agree in writing beforehand. If you find your own replacement, the financial side of things is between the two of you and we won't charge any handling fee for that.

Bank transfer is our preferred payment method as it keeps costs lower for everyone. We accept transfers in multiple currencies, just keep in mind that any conversion or transfer fees are your responsibility. If you'd prefer to pay by credit card or PayPal, that's no problem. Just let us know and we'll arrange it. There's a small 4% transaction fee for those methods. We never store card details and your personal information is always kept private.

We really do encourage everyone to take out comprehensive travel insurance before joining a retreat, for genuine peace of mind. Your policy should ideally cover all retreat activities (yoga, hiking, water sports, boat trips and so on), as well as travel delays, cancellations, illness, and loss of belongings. We're not able to provide health or travel insurance ourselves, so it's worth sorting this before you travel. Please bring a copy of your policy with you, just in case.

In the very unlikely event that we need to cancel a retreat, you'll receive a full refund of everything you've paid, including your deposit. We take our commitment to you seriously and would only ever cancel in truly exceptional circumstances. Please note that a force majeure clause applies to events genuinely beyond our control, such as natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, civil unrest or border closures. In those situations, we are unable to guarantee refunds, which is one of the key reasons we so strongly recommend taking out comprehensive travel insurance before you travel.

Our retreats are open to anyone aged 16 and over. If you have questions about a younger participant, just get in touch and we can have a conversation. A reasonable level of physical fitness is helpful for joining in with activities, but we always work to make sessions as accessible as possible. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any concerns.

We'll pair you with another guest of the same gender, and in our experience, twin-share guests often end up becoming great friends by the end of the week! If you have a specific preference or arrangement in mind, just let us know in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Getting to the retreat is your responsibility, but we're always happy to help point you in the right direction. Each retreat page includes travel information to make it as straightforward as possible. We sometimes help coordinate group transfers as a convenience, though these are arranged directly between you and the transport provider. We're acting as a helpful go-between rather than taking responsibility for third-party services.

We plan every retreat with a lot of care, but sometimes weather, local conditions, or other circumstances mean we need to make adjustments. We'll always aim to give you something equally wonderful in its place. Any tours or excursions we recommend are run by independent local providers, so while we love sharing those experiences with you, we can't be held responsible for changes or cancellations on their end.

Some destinations charge a small tourist tax, which is collected locally in cash by the venue on arrival. We'll always let you know in advance if this applies to your retreat so there are no surprises when you get there.

Our retreats are spaces where everyone, guests and staff alike, should feel safe, welcome, and respected. We work hard to create a warm, supportive atmosphere and we ask that all guests help us protect that. We also ask that you take responsibility for your own health and wellbeing throughout your time with us. If you ever have any concerns before or during a retreat, please don't hesitate to come and speak with us.
